This film is one of the most underrated films possibly ever. It was realised in 2021 and not talked about enough. It is just over 90 minutes long and honestly one of the best films I’ve seen in years.

It follows one of the biggest nights for a very busy and popular London restaurant. We get to follow what the chefs, back of house, front of house and management are doing and what they have to endure on a particularly busy and special night.

The film includes a multitude if characters that are used to show off just how many people are needed to make a business run and how each makes the other work. The film is also just a continuous one shot, that follows the characters from place to place, this shows how fast paced the environment is and how it never stops.

Stephen Graham plays the head chef who is dealing with a lot in his personal life and we can see throughout the film how it is beginning to impact his professional life and his colleagues. Graham amazingly portrays someone who’s life in full of stress and trying desperately to keep it together but struggling to do so. This I feel is one of his best performances to date.

Unfortunately this review has to be smaller than others as it is a very short film and I can’t go into detail without spoiling it completely but I would highly recommend this film as it isn’t incredibly long unlike most films now a days, keeps you on the edge of your seat and just overall brilliant.
Boiling Point is available to stream on Netflix now!
