Kurt Russel is Santa Clause, is there anything more that needs to be said?

Okay I’ll give you a bit more. The story follows brother and sister Teddy and Kate, as Teddy is babysitting his little sister Kate on Christmas Eve and she makes plans to catch video footage of Santa Clause. They manage to sneak on his sleigh but when they give him a fright, his reindeers get loose and the sleigh crashes. It is then up to them to save Christmas and make sure all the presents are delivered in time.

The Christmas Chronicles

One of the things I like most about this is how cool they’ve made Santa, aswell as how they get rid of most of his stereotypes, such as he doesn’t say ho-ho-ho and that he isn’t fat like he is usually drawn.

I also feel like this is the first time they’ve ever had a Christmas film with Santa in a car chase, with aspects like this included it really brings a fresh take to a concept that has been done hundreds of times before, it really makes sure the audiences attention is captured, as well as the added comedy to also keep us amused.

Overall I would highly recommend this film, even if it is just to see Santa singing rock and roll in a jail cell or the brilliant cameo at the end, this Netflix film is one I would highly recommend you check it out.
